4U program is a menstrual hygiene management campaign targeting school going and community young people aimed at creating awareness of menstrual hygiene management. The program aims at keeping girls in school addressing menstrual stigma. The program aims at skilling and equipping school going young girls of menstruating age on how to make reusable feminine hygiene products, and to address the negative socio-cultural norms that view menstruation as an awkward experience hence viewing women as less than equal. We aim to address the myths and misconceptions by equipping them with the accurate and correct menstrual hygiene information to curb the stigma. We shall carry out community dialogues (engagements) and discuss about these issues that negatively affect the lives of the young girls. The project is supported by Sewpportive Friends organization.
