This is a Family planning advocacy strategy targeting young people and grassroots SRHR services delivery and accessibility through Rethinking SRHR service delivery, leveraging on local and traditional SRHR structures at grass roots through Incorporating the concept of Family planning and Maternal Health (young people) on the agenda of the basic local government (LCs)to increase access and affordability as well as information on FP and maternal health.

Governance and organizational Structure:

Ray of Choice Africa is governed by Steering Committee of Young professionals who over see the financial accountability, policy making and strategic direction of the organization.It ensures that the organization has robust internal financial records by mandating a yearly assessment and review. For the past 2years,ROCA’s finances have been managed by the finance manager and the Partnerships and Grants manager. The source of the finances has been personal team members’ contributions and in-kind donations.

Under the leadership of Executive Director/Team Leader Hamza Businge, ROCA has 3 departments that work cohesively to carry out the overall vision and goals of the organization: Programs SRHR and implementation,Finance&Operations/administration, and Advocacy & Communications. The departments are under scaling and development as well.
